The manner in which Louis van Gaal was axed, by Manchester United, showed just how important Champions League football is.

Fresh from winning the FA Cup, the Dutchman`s failure to ensure that Manchester United qualified for the Champions League, only finishing sixth in the Premier League, saw the axe wielded and Jose Mourinho appointed.

However, it seems that the vastly experienced Dutchman could be set to make a return to club management.

According to the news vehicle, ESPN, a job in Japanese football awaits Louis.

Our referenced source is of the belief that the Japanese club, Vissel Kobe, are keen to enlist the 66-year-old.

Vissel Kobe parted company with Nelsinho on Monday and van Gaal tops the short-list when it comes to naming a replacement.

Vissel Kobe have lost three games in a row and currently languish in 11th place in a league of 18 teams.

Last season, after being taken over by the commerce giant, e-commerce, Vissel Kobe finished 7th in the Japanese League, their highest ever finish.

Amongst there squad is the former Germany international striker Lukas Podolski, but is it a job that Louis van Gaal wants?

Only time will tell!

Lowis van gall is a vastly experienced manager respected by many fans across Europe,he still has plenty to offer with his huge experience, Sir Alex Fergason is a man no other manager can compare to.This has been proven since his retirement. This club has a great manager, another who commands respect.A blip on his man management when at Chelsea can be wiped out when he wins the league with Man United and it will happen !
