Claims That Solskjaer Has £50 Million To Spend In January Questioned

|

Talk of, come the opening of the January transfer window, is that our caretaker boss, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, will be given £50 million to spend.

But there is confusion as to whether Solksjaer will be able to identify his own targets or whether the club has already done that.

Let me expand on the above.

Lurking in the pages of the media vehicle, the Daily Mail, is the inference that Jose Mourinho was already aware of the fact that, come January, Manchester United were making plans to bring in a centre-back and a winger, with our quoted source naming the winger as the Brazilian, Douglas Costa.

Continuing on the same theme, lurking in the news source, the Mirror, is the implication that the referenced centre-back is Tottenham Hotspurs, Toby Alderweireld.

Which returns me to my original thought train, does Solksjaer really have £50 million to spend or is its destination being decided by those who tread the hallowed corridors of power at Old Trafford?

Here at Vital Manchester United, we’d certainly be interested to read your thoughts on the above subject matter in our comment facility beneath this article.
