Where will Ronaldo go Next?

|

After Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan it is almost definite that he will never play for Manchester United again, so which clubs are interested in signing Ronaldo?

The Daily Express are reporting that the six time Ballon D’or winner could be heading back to Real Madrid because of the recent injury to Karim Benzema which was announced yesterday that he suffered a tore muscle in Saturday’s training session.

There has been no date of when Benzema will return which opens up the Ronaldo rumours back to Madrid.

The Mirror also spoke about how Chelsea are still in for United’s number seven with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly still a massive fan of Cristiano.

The Manchester Evening News are reporting that Jose Mourinho’s Roma have ‘distanced’ themselves from a transfer with Ronaldo. The director of sport at Roma, Tiago Pinto was on the one who shut these rumours down.

He said “The truth is that Cristiano Ronaldo was never a possibility. These rumours had no foundation, but in Italy they talk every day about three different players linked with your club.”[MEN]

There is an option which the United hierarchy are looking at which would see them terminate the Portuguese’s contract but would have to pay him £15 million to not have him under contract at Old Trafford anymore.

However this seems like a decision that United won’t take due to the amount it will cost and the wait until the end of the season is not too long so you would either think that Ten Hag puts him on the bench or with the reserves for the rest of the season, another club comes in to sign him in January or the club loans him out to another club for the rest of the season as his contract will run out at the end of the season.

Which option do you think Manchester United will take?
