Whilst many clubs see the Valencia forward David Villa as a key transfer target this summer, I reckon his forward partner is a far better option.

With Valencia cash strapped, to say the least, there is expected to be an exodus of stars from the Spanish club this summer.

David Villa, the free scoring Spanish striker, is expected to head towards either of the big two Spanish clubs, Real Madrid or Barcelona.

But I believe we`d be better suited to making an offer for David Silva.

On the occasions I`ve got to watch Valencia it is this lad that makes the side tick, he`s younger, he`s skilful, fast and has an eye for goal, more importantly, if reports coming from Spain are reliable, the lad would jump at the chance of a move to Old Trafford, as he explains,

‘When you hear a club like Manchester United is interested in you it is an honour.”

‘I am very aware of the Premier League, and in recent years it has been the stand-out league in the world.

‘If it came calling, especially if it was a club like Manchester United, it would be very hard to resist.”

‘I am happy at Valencia but every player has his price and if they get an offer they think is good business anything is possible.’

Get in there Sir Alex, the kid is class believe me!
