Ben Foster has admitted that he might be better off leaving Man United and according to Vital England this would be in the best interests of Foster’s club, and international career if he did.

Vital England says: England might not exactly have the abundance of keeping talent that was often the case in years gone by but if Foster cannot play regular football from next season he will slip even further behind those ahead of him as it is.

In all honesty I am concerned by the lack of depth we have as far as keepers go, yet I still feel we have enough talent out there but these MUST be playing regular 1st team football and Foster has a chance to find this from next season to force him back into Fabio Capello’s thinking for the start of the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

The guy is young, very young in goalkeeping terms, so still has plenty of time ahead of him but the longer he sits on the bench at Old Trafford the easier it becomes to remain there, and the further he slips into the international wilderness – he cannot keep waiting so for his, and England’s sake, Foster needs to move on this summer…
