United Sign Sponsorship Deal with Doo Group

|

Manchester United have signed a new sponsorship deal with Singapore company Doo Group.

The Doo Group are a financial service provider with their headquarters based in Singapore. This deal means that United’s official online financial trading platform partner is the Doo Group.

The key details of the deal have not been released yet, however, the company are expected to be paying the club a six-figure-a-year deal.

Manchester United’s global betting partner before the Doo Group was Yabo Sports which is based in London. They were apparently paying United $4.5 million per season.

This new deal between Manchester United and the Doo Group is big as the three-time winning Champions League club is looking for more revenue opportunities after the losses the club had after Covid.

This deal could mean that the Doo Group might be on the front of United’s new kit for next season although a new deal and more money would have to be put towards United’s way for that to happen.

We do know that the club are looking out for a new shirt sponsor with the Red Devils cancelling their deal with TeamViewer which was meant to last until 2026.

Ian Howard who is the Doo Group director said “Manchester United was our obvious choice when the opportunity to form a partnership arose. We have always admired how a football club transitioned into a globally recognised icon, loved and admired across the world and representing more than the sport itself.” [Finance Feeds]

As much as it is a good deal for United it is also a very good and important deal for the Doo Group to get their name known across the world as they will look to promote this partnership near their offices in Dallas, Hong Kong, Dubai, Sydney, London and Kuala Lumpur.
