With Manchester United splashing the cash big-time yesterday, to land the young French striker Anthony Martial, it seems the club have been a little more modest with their cash today.
Reports reaching us via the BBC Sport Text feed, infer that Manchester United have agreed to sign the young Welsh defender Regan Poole.
Poole, just seventeen years of age, is on the books of Newport County and has already played for Wales at youth level.
The fee being mentioned is £100,000 with the suggestion that could be quadrupled if the move proves to be a success.
Reports published by our source suggest that Poole was undertaking a medical at Carrington this lunchtime.
