United Linked With The Acquisition Of A Brazilian Defender

|

A piece of transfer speculation has emerged, this weekend, that doesn’t we here at Vital Manchester United, feel rings true.

As we trawl through numerous media avenues to bring you the latest speculation, we find that the Italian news source, Tuttosport, are reporting that Manchester United are in pole position to sign the Brazilian left-back, Alex Sandro.

Apparently, the 28-year-old could be considering leaving Juventus this summer.

But, whilst admitting that Sandro is a decent player, is he someone we need?

My immediate thoughts are no!

Luke Shaw has performed admirably in the left-back role this season and deserves additional credit for emerging from the bad spell he endured under Jose Mourinho to not only turn his career around but to become, in my view, a decent candidate for our player of the season.

Naturally, here at Vital Manchester United, we’d appreciate your thoughts on the above in our comment facility beneath this article.
