Having added Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic to the midfield ranks since taking over at Old Trafford and with the emergence of Scott McTominay also adding to the depth of the midfield unit of our squad, it appears that Manchester United haven`t finished adding to that part of the squad.

Perhaps, with Michael Carrick set to retire from the playing side of things and with the future of Marouane Fellaini shrouded in doubt, the club feel the need to recruit.

To that effect, it is being reported, by the Daily Star, Manchester United are interested in the Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The Welsh international, 27-years-of-age, is approaching the stage of his current contract whereby a new deal should be offered by his club but, so far, no agreement has been reached.

With a wealth of Premier League experience, the potential addition of Aaron Ramsey to the squad would, in our opinion, be hugely beneficial.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`ll keep a watchful eye on the situation and report back as deemed appropriate.
