United Heading For Major Disappointment

|

As they seek a permanent manager for next season.

Although, as head towards the sixth match of his caretaker managerial reign against Tottenham Hotspur, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has done a remarkable job, winning all five previous fixtures, it is unlikely that the popular Norwegian will, come the end of the season, be given the job on a permanent basis.

Speculation continues that the person the Old Trafford hierarchy would like to take over the role remains our opponents’ boss, this Sunday, Mauricio Pochettino.

However, Manchester United, as we’ve always suspected, face a tough battle to lure the Argentine away from his North London role.

According to the tabloid publication, the Sun, it could be an almost impossible task.

Our referenced source is implying that even if Manchester United were to offer Tottenham Hotspur £50 million for their manager, the answer would be no.

Indeed, it is looking more and more likely that if Pochettino is to be installed as the new boss of Manchester United Football Club, in time for next season, then he’ll have to orchestrate the move and tell his current bosses he wishes to leave.

Can I see that happening?

I’m not sure but I’d have to edge towards no, but what are your views on the subject matter?
