United Face Fight to Hang on to Rashford?

|

The emergence of Marcus Rashford was a huge bonus for Manchester United.

With world-class talent commanding enormous fees, to bring through a teenager who can live with the best is a dream for any top-club.

Since bursting on to the scene as a fresh-faced teenager, Rashford, still just 20-years-of-age, has gone on to become a regular member of both the Manchester United and England squads.

But, as you suspect, his rise to prominence has been noticed by other clubs, even more so with Jose Mourinho opting not to use Rashford on a regular basis in his starting eleven.

To that effect, the news source, The Daily Mail, is reporting that the Spanish giants Real Madrid, are looking to capitalise on Rashford not being a Manchester United regular by trying to lure the player away from Old Trafford.

The Real Madrid supremo, Florentino Perez, sees Rashford as a player who could possibly help to revamp a squad that has been eclipsed by Barcelona, in La Liga, this season.

However, I, like many others, would be enormously surprised if Manchester United were to engage in any discussion at all with the Spanish club relating to a possible sale, wouldn`t you?
