Manchester United are willing to give Alejandro Garnacho a new contract but are wary of how much to pay him.
Telegraph writer for Manchester United James Ducker has written that the young Argentinian will be offered a substantial contract with a fee that is not too high.
The reason for the wage fee not to be so high is so that Garnacho can improve and one day eventually reaches a contract that has high wages.
#MUFC in advanced talks over new contract for Alejandro Garnacho.
Confidence it will be wrapped up soon. Interesting the club have been eager to strike the right balance between rewarding player’s rise & avoiding repeat of Januzaj situation https://t.co/YM9H06Uze0— James Ducker (@TelegraphDucker) January 17, 2023
The board and Erik Ten Hag’s vision for the youngster is that they want to get the best out of him but also not lose him to another big club in Europe.
So getting the balance of keeping him happy but grounded is the key to making him stay at Old Trafford. Only 18 years old he has a lot of potentials that United want to nurture well.
Past academy prospects such as Adnan Januzaj and Ravel Morrison are prime examples of what could have been for the future of United. For the former Atletico Madrid player not to leave United will have to make a good offer to the youngster.
As many clubs in Europe are watching the talent, the Red Devils need to make it a key target to get Garnacho to a sign a new deal quick, especially with it being the transfer window at the moment.
