Solksjaer Aware Of How Tough Our FA Cup Tie Against Wolves Will Be

Tonight, Manchester United travel to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanders in a FA Cup quarter-final tie.

For the winners, there is the chance to participate in a Wembley semi-final and a chance to make the FA Cup Final.

Last season, Manchester United made it all the way to the final but were beaten By Chelsea, after Eden Hazard scored from the spot after being fouled by Phil Jones.

Hopefully, United will be looking to edge nearer to a second consecutive FA Cup Final this evening.

However, Wolverhampton Wanderers will be no walkover and at his pre-match press conference, ahead of the game, Ole Gunner Solksjaer highlighted that fact, remarking and as reported by the BBC:

“Last season you were impressed with them to go through the Championship as they did convincingly.

“They had a clear plan – didn’t get Championship players in, but players above the Championship level – and you can see that now, in seventh, they trust their own way of playing.

“They defended fantastically well against Chelsea but at home they take the game to the opponent with the great passing ability in the team.”

Clearly, Solksjaer feels that his side will have to be on top of their game if they are to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As for team-news, Solksjaer will not be able to call upon the services of Ashley Young who is suspended. Elsewhere in the squad, Romelu Lukaku is rated as extremely doubtful due to a foot injury.

However, there is some positive news with both Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera all being available for selection.

Here at Vital Manchester United, we reckon Solksjaer will make the return trip to the north-west after seeing his team win by the odd goal in three.

But how do you see this tie ending?
