Rafael Bound for La Ligue 1

Our Brazilian full-back, Rafael, seems to have become the forgotten man at Old Trafford.

Although still only twenty-five years of age, it would appear that it has been decided that Rafael, brought to Old Trafford by Sir Alex Ferguson, is surplus to requirements.

However, whilst we`ve always been of the opinion that Rafael is a more than competent operative who sometimes lets hi Latin temperament get the better of him, suitors for his services have been few and far between.

But, this morning the Daily Star is leading with the inference that the French Ligue 1 side, Lyon are very clos to securing a deal for the defender.

A fee of £7 million is being bandied about with regards to his services and, for that price; we reckon the French outfit are getting value for money.
