Poll Shows United Support Were Split Over Mourinho Axing

|

There’s no denying that the biggest news, in football, of the past week, was the sensational sacking of Jose Mourinho.

The so-called ‘Special One’ was axed after steering Manchester United to their worst ever start to a Premier League season.

Now, whether the sacking was expected or not, it still came as a shock.

In the aftermath of the news breaking, we decided to use our poll facility to canvas your feeling on the decision.

Our poll question simply read:

Were United Right To Axe Jose Mourinho?

The response we received was overwhelming and for that we are appreciative.

With three options to chose from, it appears the decision didn’t get your unilateral approval with 59% option for the YES option and 38% voting for the NO option.

Perhaps the feeling is that Jose might have been given more time.

As for the remaining 3%, they went for the ASK ME IN MAY option, perhaps feeling results between now and then will vindicate their reluctance to commit to either of the other two options.

As for me, I went for the YES option, something was clearly wrong at our club and the time was right for a change.
