Manchester United’s Quest To Sign Sancho Has Come Off The Rails Or Has It

The last time we covered the delicate subject of whether Jadon Sancho would become a Manchester United player, this summer, it looked as if the proposed deal was in doubt.

Our article – manchester-united-will-persist-with-their-quest-to-sign-their-top-summer-priority – suggested that Manchester United, despite missing the deadline set by Borussia Dortmund for the deal, were going to pursue their quest to sign the exciting 20-year-old forward.

However, today, it looks as if any such deal is as far away as possible with The Manchester Evening News running a feature that implies the Dortmund head of football operations, Sebastian Kehil, has re-iterated that Sancho, following United’s failed quest to complete a deal, will be remaining with the club.

Furthermore, another source The Mirror is running with the inference that the German club believes that come next summer, the Spanish giants of Barcelona and Real Madrid will be knocking on their door begging to sign the player.

It is, as we can see, developing into an interesting situation and I’m sure that there is a twist or two to come this summer, but will those twists see Manchester United get this deal over the line?
