Manchester United Will Persist With Their Quest To Sign Their Top Summer Priority

|

If the media were right, then yesterday (10-August) was the deadline imposed by Borussia Dortmund when it came to Manchester United completing a deal that would see Jadon Sancho move to Old Trafford.

Now, in the calendar I use, that date has now passed and there is the suggestion that any such deal will not now happen something that The Daily Mail is preaching when it reports that Dortmund are insistent that the 20-year-old will remain at the club next season.

But is that the end of the matter?

I’d suggest not!

As we’ve discovered previously, money talks in this game, especially in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic when some clubs are looking for a cash injection.

Therefore, it wouldn’t surprise me if a deal to bring Sancho to Manchester United were to happen in the next week or so.

If, as we suspect, Sancho is Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s prime summer target then I’m sure they’ll not pass up the chance to snare the player, even if Dortmund’s so-called deadline has passed.
