Manchester United Looking Closer To Home When It Comes To Buying A Striker

Every so often the media throws into the hat an interesting name when it comes to a possible acquisition in the forthcoming transfer window.

Today is one such day.

Lurking in the pages of the Italian media source tuttosport is the insinuation that, when it comes to possibly purchasing a striker this summer, Manchester United may be ready to look a lot closer to home than many might think.

Our quoted source is reporting that Manchester United are monitoring the progress of the Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Raul Jimenez.

The 29-year-old gas been a revelation since joining Wolves from Benfica.

However, Manchester United are not alone in showing interest in the player with our referenced source also championing the suggestion that Arsenal and Real Madrid would also like to acquire the striker.

But any proposed deal will come at a price with a figure of £57 million being bandied about.

Now whether Manchester United will be in at the kill if any deal is done remains to be seen, but would a deal for Raul Jimenez be something you’d be agreeable to?
