Manchester United Linked With Massive Summer Transfer Splurge To Sign Duo

|

Transfer speculation, especially in the red-top newspapers, is starting to ramp up as to whom Manchester United might be looking to bring to Old Trafford once the summer transfer window opens.

Some, of course, may have a foundation to them whilst others may be just based on an over-furtive journalist mind.

Today, one piece of speculation, broken by The Daily Mail is particularly intriguing.

It suggests that Manchester United are set to launch a massive raid on England’s second city, Birmingham, in order to sign two players.

One, Jack Grealish, is quite capable of going straight into the Manchester United side and his addition would add that something extra to the side.

However, Grealish may only become available if Aston Villa lose their Premier League status.

The other player is Jude Bellingham, a 16-year-old who has sprung to prominence at Birmingham City and who is being chased by numerous top-clubs.

However, Bellingham could very well be someone for the future with Manchester United, if any bid is successful, nurturing the youngsters’ huge potential.

When it comes to a transfer fee figure to bring the duo to Manchester United, our referenced source implies it could be as high as a cool £100 million.

Personally, I’d welcome the addition of both to our squad but what are your views on this piece of transfer speculation?
