1 – Rojo transferred from Sporting CP to Manchester United for a fee of £16 million in 2014.
2 – Rojo made his debut for his senior national team, Argentina, in 2011 and has earned himself over 35 caps. Rojo was also part of the Argentine team during the 2014 FIFA World Cup final.
3 – Rojo was the only player from the Argentina squad to be featured in the Castrol Performance Index Team of the Tournament.
4 – Rojo made his debut for Manchester United in a game against Queen`s Park Rangers, in which Manchester United won 4-0. This came after Rojo missed a number of matches due to work permit issues, following possible criminal charges concerning problems with a neighbour.
5 – Rojo received his first cap in February 2011 after a 2-1 win against Portugal in Switzerland.
