Tonight, with Manchester United welcoming Crystal Palace to Old Trafford for a Premier League fixture, a familiar face is expected to be in the Palace starting eleven.

Wilfried Zaha was the last big-money signing made by Sir Alex Ferguson before the legend decided that retirement was his next preferred option.

The winger-cum-striker didn`t have the best of times at Old Trafford and is now back with the very club he joined us from, Crystal Palace.

Perhaps the move came too soon for the youngster, or perhaps his confidence didn`t support playing for one of the biggest clubs in the land.

Ahead of the fixture tonight, Zaha has aired his views relating to is Old Trafford return, remarking,

“My time at United has gone and I don`t mind if I get booed. I still have Man United followers on Twitter. They might wait until I make a mistake in a game or something, and they`ll come out with something like ‘that`s why you got sold`.

“I am just trying to progress in my career, so going back to Old Trafford will be like playing at any other stadium. I am just going to do my best as usual.”

Now I`m trying not to tempt fate, but wouldn`t it just be one of things if Zaha was to have a major impact on the game tonight and hinder our chances of that minimum requirement of Champions League football next season?

Life can often prove to be strange!
