Last night, at Old Trafford, as Manchester United established 3-0 first-leg lead over Saint Etienne in the last-32 of the Europa League, Manchester United didn`t have it all their own way.

Despite not getting near to unleashing an effort on goal for the first thirty minutes, our French visitors sprung into life in the last fifteen minutes of the half.

In those fifteen minutes Saint Etienne had 11 shots, a remarkable statistic.

Much of Saint Etienne`s good work in that period was orchestrated through the pace of their winger Romain Hamouma.

The 29-year-old was a constant thorn in United`s side as the French side looked to get back into the game.

After the game Hamouma, being interviewed by the media vehicle L`Equipe and reported by the Metro, revealed he has dreams of playing for Manchester United, remarking,

“I dreamed of going professional. That`s the hardest bit.

“Then, like everyone else, I dreamed of playing at such a club.”

At 29-years-of-age, has that dream died or is there still hope?
