But it wasn’t really that hot – and I don’t want to be racist but I would not expect a Portuguese and a Frenchman of African origins to be the worst affected by heat…
So I suggest that we have to be careful with catering in the last two weeks of the campaign; after all, we’re harbouring hopes of snatching an unlikely title success from Chelsea’s grasp and it would be a real bummer if we had these dreams crushed by food, as Spurs were undone by dodgy lasagna when they had a real chance of getting that coveted fourth place in 2006.
I liked the way Nani pulled himself together though. It was fun to watch him throwing up one moment then chasing a ball with all the speed and effort he could muster the next.
