The Premier League have now opened voting for the Manager, Player and Goal of the Month awards for January.

Four Managers find themselves shortlisted following the January fixtures of the Premier League season, so battling for the sixth Manager award of 2016/17, and with the PremierLeague.com’s reasoning behind the choices, are:

Ronald Koeman (Everton)
The Dutchman started January by guiding Everton to a 3-0 win over his former club Southampton, before another impressive Goodison Park victory followed as they beat Manchester City 4-0. A 1-0 away win at Crystal Palace completed a flawless month for the Toffees.

Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham Hotspur)
Spurs won three and drew two of their five Premier League matches in January, scoring four in victories over Watford and West Bromwich Albion either side of ending Chelsea’s 13-match winning streak with a 2-0 success. Draws at Man City and Sunderland put Spurs up to second in the table.

Mark Hughes (Stoke City)
The Potters started January with a 2-1 victory at Crystal Palace before a 3-1 triumph at Sunderland. Hughes’ side were denied a third successive win by Wayne Rooney’s late free-kick in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

Paul Clement (Swansea City)
Clement enjoyed a fine start to life as Swansea head coach, earning a late 2-1 win at Crystal Palace. A 4-0 home defeat against Arsenal followed, but then they won 3-2 at Liverpool and beat Southampton 2-1 to climb out of the relegation zone.

Fans have until 11.59pm on February 6 to register their votes, and those votes (10%) will be included with the choices of the awards panel.

A shortlist of five has also been selected for the Player of the Month award:

Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur)
P5 W3 D2 L0 G5 A1
No player scored more than the Spurs midfielder’s five goals in January, including the two that ended Chelsea’s record winning run. Alli also provided one assist.

Seamus Coleman (Everton)
P3 W3 D0 L0 G1 A1 CS3
That Everton enjoyed a 100% record in January with no goals conceded is in part thanks to their right-back, who struck the late winner at Crystal Palace and provided an assist.

Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)
P5 W3 D2 L0 G5 A2
Harry Kane matched Alli’s five goals in January for Spurs, and the striker also assisted two goals for his team-mates.

Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)
P5 W3 D1 L1 G3 A2
The Arsenal forward’s three goals included the one that started the remarkable fightback at AFC Bournemouth and the stoppage-time penalty to beat Burnley.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea City)
P4 W3 D0 L1 G2 A2
The Swansea revival under Paul Clement has been spurred by the Iceland international, who struck the winning goals at Anfield and against Southampton.

Fans have until 11.59pm on February 6 to register their votes, and those votes will be included with the choices of the awards panel and the decisions of Premier League captains.
