Vital United’s latest poll asked if you are in favour of the latest plans of Michel Platini, candidate for UEFA presidency. The 3-times European Footballer of the Year proposed to deploy two more assistants on either side of the pitch in order to help the referee’s task but ruled out the use of technique.

Vital Readers do not seem to be too impressed by this attitude as 64% said video evidence should be used to get rid of the terrible refereeing mistakes.

13% thinks football is a really good game as it is, and therefore no changes are necessary.
12% of you agree with Platini so he has his fair share of support, too.
11% said they’d vote for Lennart Johansson, the other candidate, an old adversary of the G14.

Our next poll is about Wayne Rooney who proved all the doubters wrong with a marvellous hat-trick at the Reebok Stadium. Vital United would like to know which of his goals you liked most?
