Reports are suggesting that Manchester United are set to move quickly to replace David De Gea.

Reading between the lines it would appear that all hope of hanging on to the young Spanish keeper has gone and that Manchester United have accepted the inevitability of De Gea signing for Real Madrid.

According to the Sunday Mirror, United will sign De Gea`s replacement as early as this coming week with the goalkeeper chosen to replace the brilliant Spaniard being one we`ve discussed before.

The man in the frame to become our new man between the sticks is the Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, a 26-year old who has carved out a reputation at Ajax and also with the Dutch national team.

No fee is given, at the moment, but once further details are announced we`ll keep you up to speed with any developments.
