With the transfer window set to slam shut on Monday 1st September, the indications are that as well as bringing in some last gasp players, Louis van Gaal will also be looking to let some go.

The indications coming from within Old Trafford are that, as we`ve reported previously, the following trio are available at the right price and if the move suits Manchester United:-

? Danny Welbeck
? Tom Cleverley
? Shinji Kagawa

The latest we have on 23 year-old Welbeck is that any supposed interest from Arsenal has cooled.

As for 25 year-old Kagawa, any chances of a move away from Old Trafford might be hampered by an injury sustained in the Capital One Cup mauling at the hands of the MK Dons.

But, of the trio, Cleverley is proving to be the most interesting. One newspaper I collected this morning, is inferring that Cleverley isn`t too keen on leaving Old Trafford this summer and is prepared to bide his time and leave on a free transfer next season.

Now if that information is correct, it strikes me to be a little strange that the 25 year-old is, basically, prepared to sacrifice a year of his career and also jeopardize his international chances, by remaining, at best, on the fringe of things at United.

Your thoughts on any of the above three being available would be most welcome but particularly the insinuation relating to Cleverley.
