United’s Interest In Young Portuguese Midfielder Resurfaces

|

Although it is a deal that we’re 100% certain isn’t going to happen before the January transfer window slams shut at midnight tonight, it is a potential deal we feel is worth a mention.

The news vehicle, Talksport, are reporting that Manchester United are keeping a close watch on an emerging Portuguese talent.

The youngster in question is 19-year-old Joao Felix who is currently on the books of the Lisbon based club Benfica.

Our referenced source confirms that Manchester United scouts were in attendance to watch the youngster star in Benfica’s 5-1 win against Boavista.

No doubt, if the youngster continues to progress and Manchester United make a move for the player then we, as usual, expect a number of other clubs to step to the forefront also declaring an interest.

But, it just might be worth remembering the name Joao Felix, a youngster that could make quite a future for himself in the next few years.
