United’s Future Is Dependent On How The Transfer Cash Is Splashed This Summer

|

After the realisation hit home, courtesy of being beaten by a fading Barcelona side so emphatically on Tuesday night, that Manchester United have fallen so far off the pace as far as Europe’s elite are concerned, this summer could prove to be interesting.

If Manchester United have serious intentions of becoming a major force in European football once more, there’s no doubting that a serious amount of cash will require spending this summer.

Today, the red top publication, the Mirror, suggests that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, now very much aware of how much work requires doing, will be handed a sum of £250 million to spend.

Now, our question to you is whether you believe that figure will be high enough, or whether Manchester United will need to spend more?

Of course, with several players set to arrive there will be several players leaving so the quoted figure could increase.

Nevertheless, I can’t help feeling that our future at the top table of European football depends on just how well this cash is spent if it’s not spent wisely then the glory days could well be confined to the memory banks.
