It appears that when it comes to the future of Marouane Fellaini, as a Manchester United player, it would seem a parting of the ways is now almost inevitable.

The Belgian international midfielder who is set to run his current contract down has resisted any attempts to get him to sign a new deal.

According to the red-top publication, The Sun, Fellaini has no intention of signing a new deal at Old Trafford.

Our referenced source is championing the suggestion that Fellaini has told Jose Mourinho that it isn`t about putting pen-to-paper on a new deal, instead it is about seeking a new challenge.

If that is the case, here at Vital Manchester United we wouldn`t be too surprised if 30-year-old Fellaini is moved on this transfer window, at least that way Manchester United will be able to get some kind of fee for the player.
