United’s Chances Of Landing This Midfielder Appear To Be Diminishing

|

Twelve days ago, here at Vital Manchester United, we reported on how the Old Trafford hierarchy were looking towards Ajax for a dominating midfielder.

Our article – outstanding-midfielder-could-be-heading-for-old-trafford-as-opposed-to-real-madrid/ – covered Manchester United’s interest in Donny van de Beek, it also mentioned that Real Madrid were keen to sign the player as well.

Since our article was published, we’ve had no need to revisit the situation but that has changed this morning.

According to The Express, Real Madrid’s interest has been upped a level or two and in order to avoid losing the player to the Spanish giants, our referenced source is reporting that Manchester United have made a late bid to land van de Beek.

Matters are further complicated with the Serie A side, Juventus, also expressing an interest.

I believe that the Old Trafford hierarchy will have to offer a very persuasive argument if we are to see the 22-year-old midfielder don our famous red-shirt.

Please feel free to offer your views on Manchester United’s chances of getting this deal across the line.
