This Thursday Manchester United resume their European campaign with a Europa League game, at Old Trafford, against the French outfit, St Etienne.

This afternoon, Jose Mourinho held his pre-match press conference and gave an oversight into some early team news.

Jose confirmed that the back-four will be the same that faced Watford, in the Premier League at the weekend, namely – Valencia, Bailly, Smalling and Blind.

Mourinho also confirmed that he will take this opportunity to rest Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney.

Also unavailable will be Phil Jones who is still recovering from the badly bruised foot sustained recently in the fixture with Hull City.

But there was good news regarding the Argentine defender Marcos Rojo who is available for selection.

It`ll certainly be interesting, with the games coming thick and fast at this stage of the season, to see who Jose Mourinho selects as his starting eleven for this fixture.
