Over in the Czech Republic, yesterday, it looked very much as if the England U21 side were going to crash out of the Euro 2015 Finals.

After losing their opening fixture, to Portugal, the U21 side managed by Gareth Southgate, had to get a result against Sweden to have any hopes of qualifying from Group B to reach the next stages of the competition.

However, in a very tight encounter, with the game approaching the last ten minutes, England got the break they were after.

Pushing forward a corner was won and when the ball was delivered into the Swedish box and only half-cleared, the Manchester United youngster Jesse Lingard, was on hand to drill the ball through a crowd of players and into the net.

England conclude their Group B fixtures with a final game against Italy, in a game where the lads know a win will, despite that loss in the first game, see them through to the next stages.
