With Jose Mourinho, reportedly, having been told he must sell players before he can bring in new ones in the January transfer window, it appears one of the sales will be Marouane Fellaini.

The news source, the Mirror, is reporting that the club has done a deal that will see the 29-year-old midfielder leave the Premier League to make a move to Turkish football.

The reported destination, according to our source, is Besiktas with a fee of £8 million changing hands.

With Fellaini out of contract in June, Manchester United have decided to let the player go in January and see some kind of financial return as opposed to none at all.

Our referenced source suggests that although Mourinho went out of his way to praise Fellaini after last weeks` defeat against Chelsea, it was nothing more than a public relations exercise.
