Sat minding my own business, or some might call it day-dreaming, at my desk this afternoon, something interesting popped up on the news feed.

According to the BBC Manchester United have come to a decision when it comes to their Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

With transfer speculation linking the 29-year-old with a move to Turkish football, our aforementioned source is inferring that Manchester United would rather let Fellaini leave for nothing at the end of the season rather than sell him in the January transfer window.

Fellaini`s current contract is due to expire on 30 June 2018 and although talks are ongoing there has been no agreement reached, seemingly, Fellaini rejected the latest offer made by the club in September.

The Belgian midfielder has been at Old Trafford since August 2013 when the then manager of Manchester United paid £27 million to Everton for his services.

Fellaini hasn`t always had the best of times when it comes to the Old Trafford support but, in recent times, has found his fortune has changed and he has earned the respect of the Old Trafford faithful.

If we hear any further speculation relating to the player, we`ll report back further.
