In recent weeks Manchester United have been linked with a possible move for Juan Cuadrado.

All the talk has been of United agreeing to meet Fiorentina`s asking price for the 26 year-old Colombian.

However, recent days have seen the issue somewhat complicated.

Our old friends over at the Camp Nou, Barcelona, have also declared a vested interest in the player and the Catalan club has appeared to become favourites to secure his services.

Matters haven`t been helped, this morning, with it being reported that Juan Cuadrado has personally asked those in charge of Fiorentina to listen to the offer from Barcelona as the Colombian considers a move to the Catalan club as the opportunity of a life-time.

I guess we`ll not be seeing him grace Old Trafford then unless it is as a member of the opposition!
