Every so often a newspaper publishes a rumour that brings a wry smile to your face.

Today is one such day with the good folk of the Daily Mail championing the suggestion that Manchester Football Club are set to launch a bid that would bring one Harry Kane to White Hart Lane.

The insinuation is that Louis van Gaal has identified the PFA Young Player of the Year as a summer target and that a bid of £45 million will be submitted to Tottenham Hotspur to try and persuade the North London club to sell their prize asset.

Kane burst onto the scene with 30 goals, in all competitions, and looks to have a great future and whilst I admire our apparent interest in him, I can`t see Spurs even contemplating selling the player, even if £45 million is a huge fee for somebody who has just burst onto the scene.

But what`s your verdict?

Would you support a move for Harry Kane?

Can you see Spurs selling the striker?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
