Manchester United are hoping that the second leg of the last-32 Europa League, away to Saint-Etienne this Wednesday, is nothing more than a formality.

After beating the French side 3-0 at Old Trafford, courtesy of a hat-trick, it would take an awful performance for Manchester United to be knocked out.

This afternoon news broke that Jose Mourinho had named his squad for the second leg.

Mourinho has named a 20-man squad for the tie and it doesn`t include the name of Wayne Rooney.

Although the 31-year-old trained with his team-mates this morning he will not be travelling with the squad.

Also omitted from the squad are Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian.

However, it does include young Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Ander Herrera is another not travelling with the Spanish midfielder suspended for the fixture.

Phil Jones has also sat the trip out as he has picked up a hamstring injury.

Kick-off for the fixture is 17:00 hours UK time.
