United Striker’s Future At Old Trafford Is Secure Courtesy of The Strangest Of Reasons

|

The future of our French international forward has generated some media column inches this morning.

Only last week, we covered media speculation Click Here, that suggested that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was still to decide whether to keep Anthony Martial on the payroll or, this summer, move the 23-year-old forward out of the club.

Today, another scenario could be set to unfold.

The news source, ESPN, is reporting that Martial’s future, at Old Trafford, is secure.

It seems that footballing ability doesn’t come into it in this instance with our referenced source implying that Martial will not be sold as he is one of the co-chairman, Joel Glazer’s, favourite players.

If that is indeed the case, then what a way to run a football club!

It begs me to ask the question who has overall control of team affairs?

Has anyone got a clear answer?

It’s like Ed Woodward and the Glazer family think this is Major league football. Am beginning to believe that the real people to changed inManu is the ownership. Till now we don’t have a director of football and they’re selecting players for OGS, and we want to win trophies? What a shame

Regarding my football understanding, Antoni Martial are the perfect players a big team like United needs… that boy has a huge long way to go.. we need him ever… dnt forget abt his incoming moments, whorever was not present footages are there Familiarise yourself. Being out of form fr 2 to 3 games doesn’t define Antony!! “Namibian Man United fan”

I am not disappointed because Man U, came 6th, ( this things happen), but I am gutted that a club like United cannot replace players that brought the club glory. A blind man, can see that we need central midfielders that would keep and supply the ball upfront, and we cant even discipline erring players. Its a big shame. Its not about keeping martial or selling him. He will leave one day, but its about instilling discipline in the team, and make the team play for United, and not individual football. Let’s face facts, no player is bigger than the team. If Pogba messes up, he should be sidelined, and if he wants to leave, the gate is open. We ñeed 2 Creative midfielders, and two central defenders and 1 winger. Get Sanchez and Pogba OUT for a good balance to the team.

  • Thanks ayodezi, u have said it all Man all... says:

Seriously, a the team of united caliber needs to have at least 2 quality players for each position…and every player should be ready to play..for 90, 20, 5 or or 0 minutes if they are not performing as Mourinho said…
