Although Zlatan Ibrahimoic is currently side-lined with a knee injury, from which he is recuperating well, it seems the game could be set to see a lot more of the veteran Swedish striker.

Ibrahimovic, Manchester United`s top-scorer last season, has already put pen-to-paper on a contract that will see him remain at Old Trafford until the end of the 2017 / 2018 season, but his agent, Mino Raiola, reckons the striker is set to extend his contract way beyond the aforementioned date.

Raiola, according to the popular football magazine, Four Four Two, who have picked up on an interview given to the news source Expressen, has remarked about his client,

‘He has so much in him.

‘I think minimum another five or six years. I won’t let him stop, he has to work for me now.”

A curious last sentence you might think, although Raiola does further expand on that by further adding,

‘I have been working for him for several years, now it’s my turn. My children are grown up and I need money.

‘We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now. So we’re flipping it now. The salary comes to me and he gets the commission.’

It seems a good idea but can Zlatan really continue in the professional game until he`s forty- one?
