Tuesday promises to be another monumental night for our youngsters who are involved in the England U21 match against Romania.

Having won the first leg, 2-1, England travel to Romania knowing there is still all to play for in this crucial qualifying tie.

England lead courtesy of a late strike from our very own Chris Smalling.

Looking ahead to the second leg, Chris is adamant that a progression to the finals, next summer, is what the players want as it`ll enable them to continue climbing the career ladder.

Speaking about this point, Chris had this to say,

“A lot of us are trying to progress at our clubs, so playing in pressure games like these is definitely going to stand us in good stead.”

“Hopefully, we can play in the summer because it will be a once in a lifetime experience for a lot of us young lads.”

“When Romania scored a few heads dropped but we kept on pressing and got the goal at the end. We had belief in ourselves and are looking forward to Tuesday.”

Everyone at Vital Manchester United would like to take this opportunity to wish the lads every success on Tuesday.
