United Ready To Break Club Transfer Record To Pair This Target With Paul Pogba

|

Just four games into the season and it is fair to say that Manchester United’s start to the season hasn’t matched our expectations.

The club are currently sitting in 8th place with 5 points from 4 games and are already 7 points behind the leaders, Liverpool.

To be brutally honest, the burst of summer transfer activity was under-whelming with the quantity of players brought in not matching the quantity needed.

In fact, I could claim that the squad is a little threadbare when you consider the numbers moved on exceed the numbers brought in.

However, there could be some light at the end of the tunnel, with The Express, reporting that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is looking to continue his policy of bringing in the best young British talent out there.

Our referenced source is reporting that Manchester United are looking to sign the 20-year-old West Ham United midfielder, Declan Rice.

Rice has sprung to prominence over the past 18 months and s now a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England squad.

Our initial thoughts are that West Ham United would be very reluctant to lose their asset but, then again, when a fee of £90 million is being bandied about you just never know.

But can you see this deal being pushed through?

Is it a deal that would get your 100% support?

    yes we need

So if a player is not british he can’t be signed by the present man united. Emre can is just 25 and will come very cheap. He also got more international and premiership experience than declan rice who has played one season of consistent football with west ham. The truth is that sir Alex Ferguson which is ole mentor mix both British and foreign professional to achieve great success. I know British prospect are very loyal but at the same time very inconsistent and it takes managers like pep and klopp who continuously shout at them to become consistent, just take a look at sterling, Henderson and milner. Lingard is not consistent cos ole is scared of loosing him.

I hope that Man U personnel, contemplating buying Declan Rice, watched the match against Kosovo last night. England’s midfield is a shambles. What would the West Ham player offer, that is £90M better than what we have already. Give our youngsters a chance before spending that sort of money, on another youngster. The grass is not always greener elsewhere!

  • Frank Charlton says:

We have better players in the under 23 side they are a joy to watch and are a very good side the old saying if your god enough you are old enough

  • Niko says:

Declan Rice is average. Get Matuidi.

    • Lucky says:

I suggest from Lingaard position you buy Madisson and sort out the midfield again and give pogba a free roll to play, not to play him deeper results are obvious goals

I agree with the above comments. Declan Rice would be another waste of 90m just as Maguire was at 80m. Just because they’re British does not make them instantly desirable. Both are at best mediocre and no where near the values placed on them. Scour Europe and South America for much classier, less expensive options. There are many to be had.

    • Bob says:

Agree re Rice, Maguire, not so much. 80 million was 25 million more than what should have been paid for him, however he is a good defender that will over time improve United defensively and has immediately significantly improved them playing out from the back.

  • Bob says:

Rice is a more defensive version of the average Henderson and is only fair on the ball – Garner is a significantly better player on the ball and wins it back in the same manner as Busquets…

It would be financial malfeasance to pay anything over 30 million for Rice and quite frankly United could ( if pressed ) use Jones or Tuanzebe in that role until Garner is fully ready to make the permanent step up .

  • Lucky chinwuba says:

Man united did not need to sign declan rice in the winter transfer window what we need is a right winger like Sancho as DJ is better on the left, then give Fred chance in the defensive midfield role and bring in youngsters like j Garner and push pogba further.

  • oves says:

only if United are able to sign him irrespective of price tag within stipulated time can make fare bit of impact on United progress upward

  • Themzy says:

Like seriously, we need to make all effort to get Sancho into united squad this Sumner

  • Paul says:

Did you just say ”Jones” in central midfield?

  • Victor emeh says:

Rice is not Wat man u need now,I think Fred is better. Please ole sell pogba

  • TAJUEEN OLOSUN says:

UNITED DONT NEED THIS CAND OF PLAYER GIVE POGBA FREE ROLE AND USED FRED AND MATIC IN D PACK OF MEFIEDER

  • Mo says:

    Declan Rice ?
    Please 90 million, not worth a penny…
I would take that 90 Million an spend it on Ruben Neves from Wolves, and still have change lol.

    ……………….. Neves………………………Mc Tomonny………………..

    …………………………………..POGBA……………………………………….

    ………..Sancho………………………………………….James……………

    ……………………………………Martial………………………………………

    • Abbie says:

The best comment ever… Ruben Neves is what manutd need in the current midfield setup…. His positioning is the best… i just dont know why these pumpkin and dickheads cant see…..

  • Mo says:

@Abbie .. i guess you and I are not oblivious when it comes to scouting the correct midfielder.

  • ORINGA GEOFFREY says:

Please Ole! Go for buno f & sancho if you want to push man united foward.

    • Samson Ozoemenam says:

Bruno is definitely the missing link in our midfield
Declan Rice is not better than any of our present midfielders

  • ORINGA GEOFFREY says:

I think the location of man united fc should not force Ogs to buy only english players.
Man umited should copy good examples from pep g &clope.
    Rem united without segrigation.

  • Smith oryema says:

We need B.Fernandes & J.Sancho other than Rice who w’ld be awastage of money..English players are disappointing.

  • Mabel kabugo says:

    Oh yes
