Having spent big on both Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, it seems that Jose Mourinho is looking to continue the trend this coming summer.

With Mourinho intent on turning Manchester United back into a dominant force in European football, the popular news source, the Express is implying that Mourinho is set to break the current club transfer record of £89.3 million that saw Paul Pogba move back to Old Trafford from Juventus.

Our referenced source is suggesting that the player Mourinho is looking to bring to the club is the 22-year-old Lazio and Serbian international midfielder Sergei Milinkovic.

The midfielder has been scouted on a regular basis by Manchester United scouts and Manchester United accept that they will have to pay a club record £95 million for the player which will represent a significant profit for Lazio who paid just £16 million for the player when they signed him from the Belgian side, Genk.

However, as you`d suspect, Manchester United are not the only side interested in the player with our rivals Manchester City also keen.

This could be a piece of speculation to keep an eye on this summer!
