Our defeat at Upton Park, in midweek, has got many pundits suggesting that our squad isn`t quite as good as we`d kid ourselves into believing.

With the January transfer window set to open there will, inevitably, be a host of players that we`ll be linked with.

However, our Portuguese winger, Nani, reckons we could do worse than to return to his former club, Sporting Lisbon, for some young talent with the winger commenting,

“I`d have some young players, Miguel Veloso and Yannick Djalo.”

“They are very good players I knew from Sporting.”

And Nani would even go so far as to recommend a move to English football, further adding,

“I played in Portugal and I watch different leagues. But I think the best league is in England.”

I wonder if Sir Alex Ferguson could be swayed or has he raided Portugal enough in recent years?
