‘Just because you`re losing` used to be a popular terrace chant and we`ve a feeling it`s more than apt for our next article.

Once again, Preston North End, who are languishing in the relegation zone in the Championship, have come out and blamed Sir Alex Ferguson for their plight.

You may recall that upon hearing his son, Darren, had been sacked at Deepdale, Sir Alex recalled the players United had on loan at the club, most notably Joshua King and Richie De Laet.

Now some way down the road with Preston looking doomed their chairman, Maurice Lindsay, has stoked the fires again, casting blame in our direction, by uttering,

“Sir Alex acted in a different way than some people would and took all the players he had on loan.”

“It`s fairly obvious we paid the price for terminating the contract of his so. It was like having four tyres punctured on the same car.”

Life can be a bitch mate, just what did you expect Sir Alex to do, congratulate you?
