Some thirty minutes after the clock struck midnight, Manchester United announced that the deal had been done to finally make Paul Pogba a Manchester United player again.

According to the information being bandied about, Manchester United have paid a world record fee for the player, a fee that is being announced as £112 million with £92 million going directly to Pogba`s former club, Juventus, and £20 million going to Pogba`s agent Mino Raiola.

Furthermore, it appears that there is an add-on clause that will see Juventus paid another £4.25 million if Pogba were to put pen-to-paper on another deal at Old Trafford.

It`s also suggested that Pogba`s basic salary will be a very healthy £11 million a year.

The 23-year-old French midfielder flew into Manchester yesterday afternoon and had the first part of his medical with the second part due to be carried out today.

Although Pogba will be thrown straight into an intensive training programme, it`s thought that the first game of the 2016 / 2017 season, Bournemouth (a), will come too soon for the player to make his second Manchester United debut, that is more likely to happen when Southampton visit Old Trafford next Friday evening.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`d like to officially welcome Paul Pogba back to Manchester United and we hope hi second spell is far more productive than his first.
