According to the Sunday tabloid press, plans are afoot for our ageing trio of Giggs, Scholes and Neville.

If the rumour-mill is correct then it appears that Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are looking at extending their United careers by a further season.

Whilst it had previously been suggested that this could be Scholes last year, it looks like he`s keen to join Ryan in prolonging what has been a fantastic career.

Naturally, the rumour-mill carries speculation about a salary reduction citing a figure of £65,000 a week for each of the duo, a tidy sum though I`m sure you`d agree.

However, the future of Gary Neville is less certain with the rumour-mill inferring that he may hang up his boots to pursue a coaching career bringing through the next generation of United youngsters.

We`ll keep you informed of any firm developments!
