Our French forward, Gabriel Obertan, has, in our opinion, flattered to deceive this season.

Although he may not have had a run in the starting eleven when called upon the twenty-two year old could well be accused of giving a sporadic indication of his worth, in fact, there are rumours doing the rounds that he could be move don this summer as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to rejuvenate a squad that many see as being in decline.

But if that is the case, Obertan isn`t letting on and has given the media world some comments that infer he is still very much a work-in-progress player, when he`s attributed as having commented,

“I hope to become a real Manchester United player but the most important thing is to keep working hard.”

“I try to learn from players like Ryan Giggs and Nani.”

“Playing alongside players like them is very important.”

“It may take a while but I`m going to keep working hard. I`m focused on doing my best for the club and then we`ll see.”

“Hopefully I`ll get some time on the pitch to show what I can do.”

What is the verdict then?

Should we keep him or should we move him on?
