After looking too have all three points wrapped up, things went horribly wrong at Goodison Park.

Like two daggers thrusts to the heart, I have to admit I was very grateful when the referee, Martin Atkinson, blew that final whistle as I feared one final push forward could have, incredibly, seen us lose the game.

However, David Moyes didn`t share my relief and made a bit of a show of himself on the pitch after the final whistle, verbally berating the referee. In his post match interview he continued to show his disappointment, commenting about the referee blowing for full time when Everton were surging forward in search of a most unlikely winner,

“People come to see the game not the referee. It was an incredible decision. He should have allowed the move to progress. People come here to see excitement.”

But not at the expense of fair play surely! Time was up mate, accept it!
