United Moving Closer To Signing Midfield Target

|

Speculation linking the Aston Villa midfielder, Jack Grealish, with a move to Old Trafford continues to generate column inches.

The last two days, as illustrated by The Express, the theory that the 24-year-old is set to become a Manchester United player, this summer, has been boosted by his apparent declaration, to his friend, that he is buying a property in the north-west.

Previously, I’d been a little reticent about any speculation relating to a move believing that Aston Villa wouldn’t sell but the fact that they are edging closer to relegation each game they play, may see me change my mind.

There’s no doubt that Grealish, on his day, can be a player that can change the game in an instant, but could it be a case of he’s a big-fish t Villa Park but could become just another player at Old Trafford?

Personally, I’d prefer Manchester United to pursue the possible signing of the Leicester City midfielder, James Maddison, but what do I know?

But, to get a debate going, wo would you refer to see at Old Trafford next season, Grealish or Maddison?
